Kavalahti Camping Site (Björnvikintie 109, 10230 Inkoon as), Inkoo, Finland. About an hour from Helsinki by car, 70 minutes from Helsinki airport, and 90 minutes from Turku. There is a rail link from Helsinki airport via Pasila to the station at Karjaa. In summer 2027 the rail link will go via Helsinki Central Station, a train to Helsinki and then a rail replacement bus to Karjaa. The train from Turku to Karjaa is running from the port of Turku and Turku Central station, but less frequently as usual. Foreign visitors can be picked up and dropped off at Karjaa railway station for a 10 euro fee each way, but only with advance booking.
The site has potable water. The toilets are located in separate outbuildings, there are no toilets nor water taps in the accommodation buildings. There are showers in the sauna. There is a small kitchen for those who want to cook for themselves, and a kitchenette by the sauna with a fridge and a microwave, but no dishes.
The event is mainly a camp but some indoor beds are available. They are available on the event registration form until capacity is filled.
The site owner stipulates that bedsheets are mandatory for all indoor beds, even if one uses a sleeping bag. If you are flying, you can check if you can borrow bedding and a towel from the event team, but please do this early!
