Arts and sciences are always well represented at Cudgel War. When time draws close to the event, you'll find the A&S information via this page. Typically both classes and workshops are offered, many in English or bilingually in Finnish and English.

What would you like to learn at Cudgel War?

Cudgel War is approaching, and little by little the camp’s science and arts programme is starting to take shape!

Is there something you would like to try, learn, or do together during the camp? It could be a small practical skill (“what was that easy way to make cloth buttons again?”), a shared activity and learning experience (dyeing yarn together), a discussion on an interesting topic, or even a bigger dream (shall we build a catapult?).

We may not have time or resources to make everything happen, but many of the best programme ideas grow out of individual people’s enthusiasm and wishes. We who coordinate the Arts & Science programme can help connect people with suitable skills and expertise. You are welcome to send your ideas and wishes directly to us at opetus@cudgelwar.org. We would love to hear them!
