Archery is an integral part of Cudgel and Aarnimetsä. Both practices and competitions are organized, and archery is planned for every day from the first Saturday to the second Saturday, unless the weather makes it impossible. All archery activities are either bilingual (Finnish and English) or in English only.
As a large number of archers want to participate, everyone must arrive at the range by the starting time given in the archery schedule; otherwise the shooting can’t finish on time. Note that if you need to borrow archery gear, you’ll sometimes have to turn up earlier. If you have your own gear, your starting time may be slightly later, but read the instructions carefully. Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate in the competitions.
Please also note that you may have to register for some competitions. The schedules and detailed instructions will be published 2-4 weeks before the event starts.
Children under 12 must always have a guardian with them at the range.
The schedule is subject to change, and the descriptions will be elaborated on.
